Dr Lie was very friendly, chatty and patient and made me feel at ease during my c section.
Dr Lie was the anaesthetist for my section when giving birth to my little girl. It was my first child and I was nervous before going into theatre. Dr Lie came to see myself and my husband to discuss the process and from the moment we met him, he was pure sunshine and put us at total ease. He was the ultimate professional but also had a sense of humour which was the perfect combination. During the procedure, he was a sense of calm and looked after me from start to finish. A total credit to the NHS!
Superb bedside manner - made me feel comfortable with him straight away. Demonstrated an interest in me as a person not just a patient and really went the extra mile when I explained that I'd been told that I was allergic to penicillin but it was before I could remember. He wrote to my practice asking if they could check this since it rules me out of 50% of the available antibiotics.
The care I received was outstanding. Being reassured and having all questions answered. The procedures where explained clearly before and at each stage of the pre operation. Thank you for your calm pleasant approach.
